This 19th December, we have our last Casa del ritmo of the year celebrating with a Cumbia Xmas Extravaganza at the garden. Join us for our musical journey of rhythms and every third Thursday of the month showcasing some of the best emerging new Latin acts London offers for FREE. We welcome live one of the Colombian top artist Angelica Lopez (Cumbia Flow) bringing the best of her fabulous musical combo to bring all family, colleagues and friends together for a great Christmas party.

Talented singer-songwriter from Cartagena, Colombia Angélica López brings the grace, charisma and diverse rhythms of Colombia through her powerful fusion of Afro-Colombian sounds. Angelica has toured Latin America, UK, Europe and recently Asia also played with renowned international artists such as Willie Colon & Rey Ruiz, collaborated with Colombian music royalty Herencia de Timbiquí, Fruko and Mayte Montero (gaita player for Carlos Vives) whilst enjoyed recording success with her debut solo album Madremonte to the latest album Verano just released this year.

We will go back to the roots of a traditional combo with a modern Cumbia Flow style show to recreate her origins and London vibes with the first papayera band born in the UK with the sound of traditional caribbean music and the pacific coast from colombia, folklore full of gaitas, maracas, accordion & drums; bringing the original colours of bullerengue, tambora, mapale y traditional Cumbia rhythms.

Hosted by CarlitosNino DJ bringing the original sounds of alternative latin music and modern rhythms, this night bringing the the past and present of Colombian folklore and nu-Cumbia alongside Latin American music with a global twist. @latinosinlondon
