Sunday Folk & Roots with Donkey Hokey

Donkey Hokey are a curious band of musicians from Liverpool with a rich and diverse array of influences including; Irish traditional music, English folk, American Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, Calypso and O’Odham fiddle music from southern Arizona / N. Mexico. With keen academic interest in their source they’ve deftly blended these styles into their own clever arrangements of songs and dance tunes from the traditions. Quirky, rhythmic and intricate, these guys never fail to get people dancing.
