The Jim Mercer Band features Mike Thorne on drums and Orlando Shearer on upright bass.
Recently Jim has been concentrating on solo gigs but returns to the Magic Garden with the his group. Jim plays Ragtime and Country Blues with an injection of his own material.
He released his album “Charlie’s Flash Saloon” in 2014 – it has gained particular interest in the USA where he hopes to tour next year. Jim has been appearing at the Magic Garden for the last six years with the Gordon Smith Band who he plays upright bass with.
We are open from 10:30am, serving roasts from 12-9pm
