Marcus Upbeat (aka Downbeat) has been a Reggae DJ since he started his “Hot Bomb Hi-Fi” sound as a young teenager in 1972. He has since kept the classic sounds alive for the last forty five years as both a DJ and musician, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the music that he loves – including Lee Scratch Perry, Prince Buster, Rico, Laurel Aitken and more.
