Mansion of Snakes + Binbag Wisdom + Sacha Dieu

August 20, 2016 @ 9:00 pm - August 21, 2016 @ 2:00 am

£7 – £8

Contrary to what the Chinese zodiac would have you believe, 8th February 2016 did not hail the start of the year of the fire monkey. This is the year of the snake.

Mansion of Snakes is an 11piece afrobeat behemoth from Leeds featuring members of Jack Flash, Kalyan, Me And My Friends and The Indecision. Mansion of Snakes have performed at The Edinburgh Fringe and Smugglers Festival, collaborated with South African choirs, played late night sets in woodland cocktail bars and above Thai restaurants, as well as hometown shows at The Brudenell Social Club, Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen, Kalyan Presents and Bold as Brass.

Now the band is working in the studio to hone boneshaking grooves, acerbic free jazz and cosmic funk ready for new audiences in 2016. The year of the snake. The earth shall shake and the serpents will dance, for Mansion of Snakes is here!
