Ma’Grass + Irie Bingo ft Shire Roots & Clinton Sly + DJ Stirzaker

An eclectic electric mash up of influences from Funk, Latin, Hip Hop, World to Rock and far beyond! Ma’Grass stirs up our music culture with some flavors from the past, present and future.

Formed in 2010 by bassist, producer and composer Matteo Grassi and singer Ella Bites, Ma’Grass are a collective of professional session musicians who are currently active in the London scene. Since they’ve shared the stage with everyone from The Specials to Buena Vista Social Club, and are rolling in fresh off the waves with their latest album “Call it Fire”. Check it out here!

Hailing from the South West, Shire Roots is becoming widely known for his incredible energy behind the mic & unique reggae MC style. One half of the Irie Bingo Sound from Devon, this selecta/MC is making a real name for himself on the scene performing at many events in the UK as well as as far afield as India & Slovakia!

 

Hip-Hop Production and lyrics have always played a big part in his music for Shire Roots, and he continues to produce and write tunes with local South West crews and artists. From soundclash dubs to homegrown dancehall hip hop vibes… and of course some heavyweight reggae to get you movin’!

 

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Clinton Sly commands a rugged and unique vocal style along with diverse lyrical content which reaches out to an international audience. From club banging dancehall to slow jamming reggae, Clinton never disappoints!

DJ Stirzaker (Slamboree, Loki DJs) loves nothing more than to tangle you into impossible shapes with an impressively eclectic selection of bass-heavy tracks! He’ll be on deck duty till 2am.
