Lisa Canny – harpist and singer “extraordinaire” – hails from the West of Ireland. This will be her first ever London performance!
After the top 10 success of her debut single Lifeline, Lisa hit the road touring Ireland and the US. She is now making the move into the UK.
Although she usually plays with a 6-piece band, hear her tonight in a uniquely intimate setting, stripped back to just harp, vocal and loop pedal. When Greg Marshall decided to climb, uninvited, upon the stage already occupied by Darren Morrissey, and his (former) band to accompany him, the ensuing combination of two vocals created the magical moment….namely the birth of “Morrissey and Marshall”. They have been writing and performing together ever since.
We’ve come to expect plenty of upbeat folk n’ roll from this Dublin duo that are causing a big stir on the Irish scene. Their irresistible harmonies draw comparisons with The Everly Brothers or Simon and Garfunkel with an Irish twist!
