Kangaroo Moon / Green Diesel / Clan Dextine
May 4, 2018 @ 9:00 pm - May 5, 2018 @ 2:00 am£5 – £8
Probably one of the finest trance folk bands in the UK, Kangaroo Moon have a solid history behind them making them an essential part of the UK’s festival scene.
Exciting, thundering and yet intimate, they lay earthy and exotic rhythms down and let fly the most gorgeous melodies, each song a journey in its own right.
Drawing from indigenous music from across the earth’s cultures, they blend it all with obvious joy, consummate skill and a driving passion. Feel your body and soul unite in psychedelic dance!
Hailing from Faversham in Kent, folk-rock band Green Diesel first emerged in 2009. Blending violin, mandolin, dulcimer and bouzouki with electric guitars and drums, Green Diesel’s sound is born from a love of traditional English music and a desire to bring it to a modern audience.
Performing original compositions, steeped in folklore, alongside inventive reworkings of traditional songs and tunes the band have built up a reputation as a fearsome live act. Their energy and musicianship grabs the audience by the scruff of the neck and leaves them wanting more.
The band’s third album ‘The Hangman’s Fee’ (released in 2017 on Talking Elephant Records) features songs inspired by the darker side of folklore. Sinister spirits and bloodstained tales weave their way through the album backed by the signature Green Diesel sound. English folk, red in tooth and claw, performed by a band at the top of their game.

Clan Dextine takes his audience on a journey through bass and time namely from swing to ska, blues to Balkan, roots to rave and beyond. He likes to throw some globalized whomp and glitched-up stomp into the mix and has always got his swangin’ D’n’B up the sleeves for when the moment is right!
The venue is open from 10:30am, serving food from 12-10pm. Happy Hour is 5-7pm!
