Experimenting with samba, funk and eerie folk music, dub quartet George Works have developed a unique sound.
Taking cues from the likes of ska-reggae dons Alton Ellis and Desmond Decker, hip hop acts Task Force and Jehst, as well as live electronic pioneers such as Faithless. George Works have fostered a sound that is as eclectic as it is infectious. This is live music, made for dancing.
Playing from a mixed bag, DJ Discolexic cranks out everything from soulful groovers to banging boomers!
Favourite flavours are from the remix bar with timeless classics and a double shot of big fat bass! Oh and plenty of breaks too…
