Forest of Fools + Stop Press + DJ Koichi Sakai
December 11, 2015 @ 9:00 pm - December 12, 2015 @ 2:00 am

Fresh from their outstanding performances at Boomtown Fair and Small World festivals, Jump-up Folk pioneers, Forest of Fools are coming to London for the first time. Come and join us for an evening of intimate entertainment and witness for yourself what all the fuss is about!
Daring to step outside of the established traditions of folk music and pioneering a bass-infused sound that can only be described as “Jump-up Folk”, they have something that will leave you smiling from ear to ear. With influences ranging from Folk, Drum & Bass and World Music to Funk, Jazz and perhaps even a touch of Classical; this music is spliced with cunning arrangements and intricate melodies, it’s a groove that can’t fail to move you.
“…forest of fools are a lovely bunch of fellows with a vibrant and lively performance of some wonderful and uniquely styled sounds. The brilliant divergence in sounds they produce made for a fantastic closing act for our stage…” – Tim Bamford, Floating Lotus Dome Stage, Boomtown Fair
Stop Press! are a soulful ska/indie 5 piece from The South East.
Described as music made up of ‘jumpy rhythms and soulful tones’, the band draws influence from technical indie and authentic 1st wave ska/reggae movements to create an inventive blend of contemporary summer vibes. Devoted to their inspirations, Stop Press! aim to elighten minds and lighten moods with the music they have to offer.
