An eight piece band consisting of a driving rhythm section, blistering horns, and melodic blues vocals, No.1 Station get the crowds on their feet, rocking to the beat wherever they perform! They are considered to be the vanguards of a new generation of Blue Beat – music derived from the classic dance beats of traditional Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady and early Reggae.

One of the early proponents of Electro Swing, retro remix and world beats in the UK, Jon Bongly is a force of positive energy spinning anything with a swing, and other retro remix including ghetto funk, ska, big beat and glitch. He also likes pulsing techno and wriggling tropical beats.
