Daytoner + Clapping For Strangers + DJ Jon Bongly

January 20 @ 9:00 pm - January 21 @ 2:00 am

| Free before 7pm, £7 after

DJ/Producer Daytoner habitually mines the rich seams of audio from charity shop vinyl and various sound sources in search of the perfect sunshine samples from yesteryear.

The debut Daytoner LP, ‘Sunburst Radio’ was released in August 2012 to critical acclaim and plenty of radio airplay plays thanks to High Contrast on BBC Radio One, Craig Charles’ Funk & Soul Show on BBC6 Music and BBC Introducing. Following this studio support, a number of musician friends suggested taking this sunshine sound to a wider audience, and before long a 6 (occasionally 7) piece band was formed, intent on filling the dance floor and blurring the boundaries between DJ set & live performance with a line-up consisting of:

Lucy Richards (Vocals)
Andrew Worthy (Baritone Sax)
Rich Hume (Tenor Sax & Flute)
James Frost (Drums)
Patrick Redmond (Bass)
Moss Daytoner (DJ)

This exciting live show effortlessly twists classic vintage hooks and samples into new live remixes along with original floor fillers of their own to provide a totally unique, feel-good show and Daytoner are currently writing and recording their debut LP which they hope to release in early 2018 following early support across BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing along with various internet stations worldwide.

Craig Charles – “Daytoner are my new favourite band. Fact”
