D-Kel & Los Bandidos
If D-Kel & Los Bandidos were a food stall at a festival they would almost certainly be advertising themselves as a Fusion, such is the mix of flavours and styles in their music. Rock riffs, Punk energy, hints of Reggaeton spanglish flavour, some Dub vibes and furious rap flow all combine to make a sound this is both unique and instantly relatable.
D-Kel (vocals), Ryan (guitar), Alfie (bass) and Harry (drums) have honed their sound as D-Kel & Los Bandidos and balanced the flavours so that they complement each other rather than clashing.
With influences as diverse as the Skints, the Sex Pistols, Roots Manuva, The Streets, Calle 13, Tego Calderon and Massive Attack, you know D-Kel & Los Bandidos are going to get the crowd moving and in the best mood no matter what energy those people came to play with.
D-Kel & Los Bandidos are full of energy, ideas, enthusiasm and melodies but with a sense of social justice and no time for any time wasters. These guys are ready to spark something off and you don’t want to miss out when that spark ignites.
Sophie Castillo is a Latin Dark Pop artist based in West London. Born to a Colombian mother and a Cuban father, her musical influences stretch across the Atlantic and all the way back to her place of birth, London, to produce an alternative dark pop/RnB sound with a Latin twist she makes her own.
Embarking on a fusion of pop, alternative, indie, RnB and Latin music, she breaks the barriers of genre. Pairing her soft flowing vocals with catchy melodies and sensual rhythm, she echoes the romanticism of the Latin music she grew up with to create a cinematic, dreamy and glamorous sound.
She combines her intercontinental inspirations, singing in both English and Spanish, tackling the topics of love, the self, and the spiritual.
