Crinkle Cuts + Soul Grenades + DJ CousCous

October 27, 2017 @ 9:00 pm - October 28, 2017 @ 2:00 am

£5 – £8

Fresh with a capital PH, Crinkle Cuts deliver you a blasting of tantric funk, smooth reggae and new-wave latin ska woven together with good vibes for an eccentric, exotic and eargasmic live performance.

It would be no exaggeration to say that their music never fails to get a crowd dancing as Eden Festival recounts the Crinkle Cuts as ‘One of the most electric sets of the weekend’’.

As well as their incredible live performances, Crinkle Cuts music has been well received with the BBC describing the Crinkle Cuts as “Amazing!” Bigger than Patrick, their new LP is out right now to stream on Soundcloud or to purchase on Bandcamp, iTunes and other major online stores.

Known for their tracks ‘Two Shoes’ and ‘Dan’s Song’, their debut album is underway, which includes the new hit ‘Slipped on a Banana’ and is not one to be missed!

Purveyors of heavyweight funk and soul grooves with a contemporary edge, 10 piece band Soul Grenades are quickly establishing themselves as one of the most dynamic live acts on the scene. Fronted by veteran soul vocalist Sabina Challenger (featured on The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show with The Getup), the band boasts a rock-solid, super-tight rhythm section, blistering horns, and a burgeoning song book of future classics.

‘SWING n SKANK’ music, with a funk & soul, roots & culture heart… That’s the vibe of DJCousCous, who has been playing on the London World Beat scene for the past 8 years, racking up gigs at top festivals and events, and playing alongside some of the biggest names in electronic world music.

Spanning genres such as Balkan, cumbia, Afro-beat, reggae, ska, electroswing, drum n bass, electronica, broken and break beats, you can hear any of these elements stirred into one of his blends.
