Casa del Ritmo ft Pamela Fom

Pamela Fom is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), based in London. Self-taught during her first years of playing acoustic guitar, later on she attended two of the most prestigious music schools in Rio de Janeiro, “Escola de Musica Villa Lobos” and “Escola Portatil de Musica”.
Pamela recorded her debut album “Deixa o tempo passar” in 2013 including 10 songs all written and composed by her.
“Com a chuva, com o sol” ( “Come rain or shine” ) was her second album recorded in 2015 with 11 originals songs, one of them, “Deixa eu chorar” (“Let me cry”) being the finalist of the “Radio Mec Festival” hosted by a popular classical radio in Brazil. The song title is a wordplay on the words “Chorar” which in Portuguese means “crying” and “Choro”, a Brazilian music style from the 19th century which Samba originated from.
In the same year, during a tour in London, Fom won the “Got Talent UK” contest performing her song “Deixa eu Chorar”.
On the decks DJ session by Carlitos Nino bringing the brazilian beats to nuevas musicas brasileras from Rio to the music city of Salvador Bahia and the influence of Brazilian music in the rest of Latin america.
