Carnival Sunday – Featuring INDIKA and Deemas J
August 29, 2021 @ 8:00 pm - August 30, 2021 @ 2:00 am
£5
Rounding off this extraordinary weekend of Carnival festivities, Sunday at the Magic Garden will be all about celebrating Caribbean culture, music and food. All day AND all night.
Join us in our garden during the day for an authentic community experience as we serve up some delicious Caribbean inspired food and live acoustic music from some of our music family who will be performing reggae classics on guitar and piano. Who knows, a singalong might even break out from time to time.
Sunday night is another story all together…
One of the country’s, nay, one of the world’s finest Reggae bands will be on stage at the Magic Garden. INDIKA, backing band and long-time touring band to none other than Lee “Scratch” Perry, will be closing out the live performances for our three-day Carnival “festival extraordinario”. Joined by special guests throughout their set, INDIKA are guaranteed to move you, groove you, and sooth you.
And finally, bringing the night – and the weekend’s festivities – to a close, long-time member of the Carnival family, Deemas J will be on the decks spinning a very special Carnival set of the best in Soca, Reggae & Party Anthems into the late hours of the night!
