BUSK Fest + TERMITE/Holly Flo Lightly
June 25, 2015 @ 8:00 pm - 11:45 pmFree entry
Busk are a London based management company, taking people from the street to the stage. This month they’ve organised an evening of music and revelry for all of those who couldn’t make it to Glasto! Here’s a look at what they’ve got lined up this time:
Jo Deer is a young French singer songwriter. He attributes his Estuary snarl to being brought up on his parent’s record collection, Tarantino movie soundtracks, and Brit Pop. His songs speak of youthful challenges, exuberance, love, sex, and going out. Check him out!
Project Alfie, the Electro/soul Maestro, will be wooing the crowd with an intimate set of acoustic ballads. Check him out here!
Bella Mckendree‘s voice, charm and piano playing ability all combine to create an effortless performance able to relentlessly hold everybody’s attention. When a singer so young can emote so successfully through her music it’s really something to behold. Have a look for yourself!
You can also expect some surprises such as spoken word and up close magic…
At 10pm you’re in for a treat once TERMITE and Holly Flo Lightly take the stage! A beatmaker from deep in the termite mound, TERMITE’s music reflects a lot of landlord mayhem and charity shop records. Holly Flo Lightly is a British female rap artist and singer who offers unapologetic and witty punchyouintheface lyrics, juxtaposed with soulful harmonies laid over hip hop beats!
PLUS a set from DJ Morestyles!!!
