Birthday Bonanza Showcase Party

February 17, 2019 @ 3:30 pm - 10:30 pm

| FREE ENTRY

I’m reviving my long tradition of combining a gig with a birthday party, and this year celebrating 66 in style. I’ve chosen an all-star line-up to include good friends who are also great musicians (see below for set times). You don’t want to miss any of these artists, and nor do I, so do plan to get there early if you can. Besides, I won’t be partying too late into the night, as I have to get up on Monday morning for work. Live music from approx. 4 until 10pm

After some confusion about the venue we’ve settled on The Magic Garden in Battersea. This is my favourite London pub, and I’ve played many gigs there. There’s good food available, good beer, lovely staff, great atmosphere, and of course a big, magic, garden!

The 44 (from Victoria / Wandsworth / Tooting) and 344 (from London Bridge / Vauxhall / Clapham Junction) bus routes stop right outside the door. Closest rail station is Battersea Park, a two-minute walk away. Drink, don’t drive!

Feel free to invite your friends!

Line-up currently looks like this:

The Magic Garden – COVID-19 UPDATE

To all of our wonderful customers,

As people across the UK adjust to life during these extraordinary times surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, pubs throughout our nation have suffered declining patronage and, unfortunately, the Magic Garden is no exception.  As a result, we at the Magic Garden have been left with little choice and have made the decision to cancel all upcoming music and entertainment events effective immediately and until further notice.  We will, however, remain open for regular service for all those who would like to join us at the pub.  We value all of our customers and staff and make this decision for the benefit of all who enjoy our establishment.  We will be watching the daily updates from the government and will resume entertainment once we are confident to do so.  In the meantime, we welcome all those who would like to come and see us, have a drink and say hello.

Sincerely,

The Magic Garden
